Support class has changed only slightly from previous games, but it generally has the same role as before. Your job is simple – resupply your teammates and suppress your enemies. Make use of bipods for better accuracy and trip mines to stop and surprise your enemies. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to play Support Class in Battlefield 1, how to get good at it. 

Battlefield 1 Support Class

Here are some great tips and tricks that will help you and your teammates win: 

• Put your trip wires inside buildings and in strategic positions for some easy kills. Avoid putting them in open, clearly visible spaces. Put them on stairs, ladders and near doors to cover your position. People tend to pass them without noticing.
• Your heavy machine guns will have increased accuracy and decreased spread when you hold down your trigger. Your first few shots will be inaccurate, but the spread will decrease later on. Avoid tap fire to increase your overall accuracy.
• Since your magazines will mostly have a high number of bullets, consider using the pre-fire method when you go around corners and suspect enemies are nearby. The pre-fire method is basically when you start firing before you move around the corner – it will give you an upper hand in various combat situations.
• Put your ammo crate on strategic positions such as buildings, rooftops and any contested area. You will provide ammo for anyone passing by, giving you and your team an egde in combat.
• Don’t wait for your teammates to ask for ammo, constantly throw your pouches and place crates around the map. Everyone will be resupplied with ammo and you will get a lot of points.
• Some machine guns have a bipod beneath them. You can use them while going prone, on windows and walls. Place your machine gun in a good position and your accuracy will increase drastically, while recoil will become almost non-existent.

Kolibri Pistol Easter Egg | Battlefield 1 (19)

Kolibri pistol is a tiny little gun you can use in Battlefield 1. It’s an easter egg, and the weapon is largely useless, apart from its novelty value. It’s a replica of a real world gun, whose production was abandoned since it was as useful as its in-game counterpart. In this guide, we’re going to show you the Kolibri pistol easter egg in Battlefield 1, where to find it, what it looks like.

Note: This guide is a work in progress. We’ll add the exact steps you need to take to obtain this weapon once the game is out.

As you can see, the baby pistol is hilarious, and so are the animations when using it. Killing someone with it will probably require a lot of persistence and luck. As for the method of obtaining it, it will probably be a map-speficic pickup, hidden away somewhere. There is a possibility it will be unlocked through the menu using Warbonds, but we think it’s unlikely. Asking players to invest hard-earned progression currency and a loadout slot into it would be kind of cruel.


It’s based on the Kolibri 2mm, a real world weapon designed in the early 20th century by an Austrian watchmaker. It was marketed as a self-defense weapon, but test quickly showed it wasn’t up to the task – it was impresice, weak and fiddly. It is an amazing thing to see, though.

Scout class in Battlefield 1 has remained very similar to what it was in the previous games. It comes equipped with a sniper rifle, a flare gun, some special armor piercing bullets that can greatly damage vehicles and a spotting scope. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to play scout class in Battlefield 1, how to get better at it. 

Battlefield 1 Scout Class Tips

Here are some useful tips and tricks that can help you get better with the Scout class : 

• Don’t camp in one spot and try to hit your targets from extremely long range. Always play the objective and cooperate with your teammates.
• As suspected, sniper rifles excel at long range engagement. Practice shooting moving targets and shoot ahead of them for successful hits. It may take some time to master, but once you get it, you will be unstoppable at long range. Master the bullet drop at different ranges with different rifles. Head-shots will grant you instant kills at any range. Practice with different sniper rifles until you have found the one that suits your needs and the combat situation.
• Don’t hold the scope for too long. Use it quickly for scouting the area and taking shots. Keep in mind that everyone can spot you thanks to the reflection from your scope, so don’t use it if it’s not necessary. Use the spotting scope to mark your enemies and scout the area out instead.
• Different sniper rifles have different damage models. With some, damage will increase if your target is between 50 to 120 meters awy, and it will drop if your target is out of that range. At close range, you could try quick scoping but the best thing would be to use your sidearm or melee. Also practice quick scoping and immediately switching to your sidearm.
• Use your flare gun to spot all enemies in the area for a short period of time. It can be very useful, especially at heavily contested areas and capture points.
• Use K bullets to damage vehicles. They don’t do too much damage, but they will most certainly help, or at least stop the vehicle from repairing. This can be very useful on open maps with a lot of vehicles and tanks.
• Try out the famous “Aggressive sniper role”. Get into the action while using the sniper rifle with a faster rate of fire and smaller magnification. It requires a lot of skill and practice, but you can devastate an entire team in seconds. Go for medium range headshots and finish off your enemies with your sidearm if necessary.
• Your combat role is to keep your distance from the enemy, mark and eliminate from long range. Avoid open spaces and always stay behind cover. If you enjoyed sniping in previous Battlefield games, you will definitely enjoy it in this one.

Medic Class Guide | Battlefield 1 (17)

Medic class is definitely the most useful class in Battlefield 1, in any game mode. In previous games, it was the assault class that had access to medkits and defibrillators. It also had acess to very powerful assault rifles. In Battlefield 1, it’s the Medic that will be using the semi-automatic rifles and healing and reviving teammates. This guide will show you how to play medic class in Battlefield 1, how to get good at it. 

Battlefield 1 Medic Class Tips

Here’s some advice that will help you maximize your efficiency on the battlefield: 

• You will lose accuracy if you spam the trigger while using the semi-automatic rifles. Take slow shots for maximum precision. Hip fire spread is generally high, so try to avoid it if possible. Practice aiming down sights.
• Semi-automatic rifles are designed for medium to long range engagements, so try to avoid tight corners. In those situations, you should consider using your sidearm or melee weapon. They are very similar to DMR rifles from previous games.
• Place medic crates on strategic positions, such as rooftops, inside building and places with good cover, to heal yourself and your teammates while you are in tense combat situations.
• You can throw small med packs directly at your teammates if they are injured. Throw your med packs on the ground frequently, even if there are no teammates around at the moment. This will give your team an upper hand in many situations.
• Don’t try to revive your teammate unless you are sure that there are no enemies around. You don’t want to get in a situation where you die while reviving another player.
• As with any other class, always try to spot enemies and mark them, both for yourself and your teammates.
• Consider using the repair tool on maps with vehicular combat. Support them with your repairs, since the tanks and vehicles can turn the tide of victory. Keep in mind that it will replace your medkit or your revive tool in your loadout.
• Your role is simple, but very important – crucial for winning.. It’s constant healing, repairing vehicles and reviving. Keep your teammates alive and running at all times.

Battlefield 1 Release Time (16)

Battlefield 1 is going to be released in the coming week. Different editions of the multiplayer shooter will be released at different times, so it can be kinda hard finding out when exactly will you be able to play it.If you’re having trouble with this mess of editions and platforms, we’ve got you covered. This guide will show you the exact Battlefield 1 release date & time, for all editions, in several time zones. 

Release Date for Battlefield 1

There are several release dates for the game, depending on which edition you buy and whether you have EA Access / Origin Access.

• Origin Access and EA Access are monthly subscription services for PC and Xbox, respectively. Their users can play a 10-hour trial version starting on October 13th. It containts only a couple of maps – consider it a paid-for demo. If you don’t like what you see, now would be the time to back up.
• Those who buy the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition (the fancy, expensive one with all the goodies) will get it before the general population, on October 18th.
• Everyone else will be able to start playing their Standard Edition on October 21st.

Release Times for Battlefield 1

As the worldwide release approaches, players are starting to wonder when exactly is the game going to be released in their time zone, so they can start preparing. Battlefield 1 Editions: Standard, Deluxe, Collector's (15)

There are several editions of Battlefield 1 currently on sale. Some will only be available until the game is released, so you have limited time to get them. Others are limited by physical stock numbers. The whole thing can get a bit confusing, and you might not realize what each one of them contains. This is where we come in – our guide will show you all Battlefield 1 editions: standard, deluxe and collector’s, as well as the contents of the season pass.

Battlefield 1 Standard Edition

Thsi is the basic edition. It’s also the cheapest, so if you’re in a tight spot, this is your best bet. You’ll only get the game, and it costs $60. If you buy it before the game is out, you’ll get the Hellfighter Pack preorder bonus, which includes several items based on the Harlem Hellfighters infantry regiment:

Battlepacks in Battlefield 1 - How to get them (1)

Battlefield 1 Battlepacks are loot crates. Opening them will grant you rewards like weapon skins and melee weapon puzzle pieces. You can get them by simply playing the multiplayer, but that’s kind of slow. There’s another way, though, which might be faster, depending on how much you’re willing to sacrifice. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to get Battlepacks in Battlefield 1.

How to get Battlepacks faster

The basic way of obtaining battlepacks is by playing multiplayer. You’ll get them as post-match rewards every so often, so just keep playing and you’ll keep receiving. If that’s to slow for you, there’s another way. Every item you get from a battlepack can be turned into scrap. If you know you don’t want it, you can scrap it right away, when you open the crate. If you decide to do it later, here’s what you should do:

• Select More in the main menu
• Choose Battlepacks
• Go to the Inventory tab
• Find the skin you don’t want and choose Scrap for X

                             To get the regular Battlepack, you’ll need 200 scrap.

How to get Enhanced Battlepacks

These won’t drop as rewards for playing. Your only option is to buy them from the menu. An Enhanced Battlepack costs 450 scraps. It guarantees either a Distinguished skin or a legendary one. Thankfully, even if you don’t like them, these will earn you more scrap than the regular ones.

How to get Superior Battlepacks

The Superior Battlepack can be bought for 900 scrap. That is the only way to get it – you can’t play for it. The reason it’s so expensive is that it guarantees a Legendary skin. You can see the possible drops on the right side of the menu – they’re probably going to change as time passes and more skins are added to the game.

If you’re interested in getting a specific skin and don’t care about any others, it’s definitely worth it to scrap everything (not only duplicates) in order to get it.

Battlefield 1 is right around the corner – some are even playing the trial version as we speak. Through Mud and Blood Field Manual Locations | Battlefield 1 (13)

Field Manuals are collectibles you can find in Battlefield 1. They can be obtained during the single player campaigns. In Through Mud and Blood, there are 20 of them – 5 in every mission. Each batch of five will unlock a new codex entry, so it’s worth getting them if you want to discover more story bits. Once you’ve got them all, you’ll unlock the Sound of Thunder achievement. In this guide, we’re going to show you allThrough Mud and Blood Field Manual collectible locations in Battlefield 1.

Over the Top field manuals

The first one can be found while you’re driving the tank. Look for a tent in the rubble on the left side of the road. The crate will be near the tent.

The second one is inside the church. Enter from the graveyard and go into the infirmary. Turn left, and you’ll see the crate next to two big cauldrons.

Exit the church through the hole in the wall, then immediately turn left. You’ll see a big green wheel leaning against the church wall. The third crate is next to it.

You’ll find the fourth one near the square with the British flag, at the end of the village. It will be next to some barrels by the house that’s still standing.

The last one can be found before you reach the bridge. You’ll see some cannons on your right as you approach it. The crate will be next to one of them.

Fog of War field manuals

The first one is near the start. Go down the road, past the gun emplacement and the barbed wire, then turn right and go up the hill. The crate will be there.

The next one is in the basement under the ruins. Jump down into the canal in front of the cannon and enter the basement. Turn left and go all the way to the back. Turn around and you’ll see a row of beds on your right. The chest will be between them.

When you reach the iron bridge, turn right and go under it. You’ll find the box with the third collectible there.

The fourth one is near the checkpoint by the railroad. Go past the wooden cart and turn right. You’ll see it by the crates.

The final field manual can be found near the end of the mission. When you go past the log fence, you’ll reach a concrete bunker. Go inside and look in the box.

Breakdown field manuals

The first one can be found in the square with the broken down tank. Go around the big house on the right and you’ll reach an eave with firewood beneath it. The crate will be in the smaller section, separated by a wal

This one is in the windmill on the northern edge of town. Go inside and climb the stairs to the top. The crate is by the window.

When you get to the large building with the two decomissioned tanks in front of it, go around them. Enter the building and go upstairs. The crate will be on the second floor – it’s pretty dark there, so you might need to fumble a bit before you reach it.

The fourth one is in the big house in the middle of the town. Go through the hole in the brick wall and enter the front door. Climb the stairs and hug the left wall until you reach the box with the manual.

The last one can be found near the checkpoint on the eastern side of town. Follow the road to the little stone house by the river. Enter it and turn right. The crate will be by the door.

Steel on Steel field manuals

All of the field manuals in this mission are hidden inside windmills. The first one is in the one you reach while still in the tank, by the road. It’s right next to the grindstone.

The second windmill is on the outskirts, in the western part of the village. The crate is by the grindstone, just like the one before it.

The third one is right across the road from the previous one. There’s a military tent next to it. Go inside and look for the box on the ground floor, by the grindstone.

There’s another windmill in the middle of the village. Make sure you check that one out as well, since there’s a crate with a field manual inside, next to the (you’ve guessed it) grindstone.

The last field manual is in the windmill on the top of the hill. It’s where the next step of your mission triggers (the one sending you to the railyard), so you can’t miss it. Go inside and get the collectibles from the ground floor.
